Avataras & Kshetras

Lord Dattatreya, the combined form of the Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh), has manifested in various avatars across different yugas:

The Three Main Avatars:

1. Shripada Shrivallabha (First Avatar):
The first avatar of Lord Dattatreya appeared in Pithapuram, Andhra Pradesh. He is considered the Adi Guru and the first complete avatar.

2. Sri Narasimha Saraswati (Second Avatar):
The second avatar who lived in Ganagapur for 24 years. His life and miracles are detailed in the Guru Charitra from chapters 22 to 52.

3. Manik Prabhu (Third Avatar):
The third avatar who appeared in Kalyan, Maharashtra, and later established his seat in Maniknagar.

Sacred Kshetras (Holy Places):

- Ganagapur (Karnataka): The primary seat of Sri Narasimha Saraswati
- Pithapuram (Andhra Pradesh): Birthplace of Shripada Shrivallabha
- Audumbar (Maharashtra): Another important center
- Narasoba Wadi (Maharashtra): Sacred pilgrimage site
- Akkalkot (Maharashtra): Associated with Swami Samarth

Each of these sacred places holds unique significance in the Dattatreya tradition and attracts millions of devotees annually.
